Somebody who is completely satisfied with his/her bike isn't going to write an entry each week repeating that nothing's happened.
I have reported a couple of problems but have still managed 30'000 Kms in 2 years.
That's not too bad, I find.
I have had one breakdown, meaning I stopped and called for help.
It turned out not to be a breakdown at all!!
I was rolling along when I suddenly felt and heard something jamming my back wheel.
It was, of course, the middle of the night and I had no torch!
I stopped, looked, rolled the bike backwards 10 yards and forwards 20 and nothing fell out.
It was still rubbing.
Better to be safe than sorry, I called the breakdown service.
They took the bike down to the shop and me home.
The next day I went to pick up my repaired bike - free.
I had picked up a chunk of somebody elses tyre which got hot enough in the time it took me to stop from 80 Km/h so that it welded itself to the bike!!!!!
Otherwise - I love my bike!
I'm taking a short trip this weekend, about 200 miles each way:
A couple of savagers are meeting in the Black Forest (Tübingen if you're interested).
Just like that. No particular reason.
KTRSD and enjoy!
